What is Patreon & why have I decided to set it up?

If you are not familiar with Patreon, it is a very popular membership platform for online creators to build closer relationships with the community and provide exclusive experiences to their subscribers, aka “patrons”. It mainly, it offers financial tools that let supporters subscribe to projects that give creators a predictable income stream as they continue to create content.

So why am I doing this?
